This week, US Border Patrol turned away a foreign student from Lebanon who was enrolled at Harvard University as an incoming freshman.
The student has been described as a 17 year old male resident of Lebanon.
“Ajjawi alleges he was told that there were ‘political points of view that oppose the US’ expressed by people he follows on social media,” according to CNN.
Earlier this year, the university officials wrote a letter to Immigration discussing concerns that immigration policies were affecting it’s students’ ability to attend university.
