The Obama administration is holding a $10,000 contest that seeks a new design for medical bills.
In an effort to help US patients better understand their medical bills, the administration is asking people around the country to submit a proposal and plan for a new medical bill design that improves the way patients interact with, and understand what they are covered for and a break down of their bill. The contest is sponsored by AARP and administered by Mad*Pow. Design proposals are due August 10, 2016.
