The Boston nonprofit “Main Street Partners” is connecting graduates working in top consulting firms to small businesses in the Boston metropolitan area. The businesses, which range from restaurants to dance studios, benefit from corporate level advice while the young consultants learn from playing leadership roles still inaccessible to them at their firms. Since its founding in 2010, Main Street Partners and its volunteers, the self-proclaimed “capitalist peace corps,” have helped over 75 small businesses thrive and prosper.
