Chicago Native Launches Mobile App to Simplify Nonprofit Giving

Chicago native Kaitlin Reimann has developed and released the app “uBack,” which allows its users to make immediate donations to their nonprofits of choice. Not only does uBack simplify the giving process, it also shows users how their donations impact nonprofits’ operations. So far 65 not-for-profit organizations have registered with the app to receive donations, launch fundraising campaigns, and share news of donations. Creator Reimann speculates that the app will obviate the need for physical fundraising events and engage millennial donors like never before.
