Get to Know The Flint Institute of Arts

The Flint Institute of Arts (FIA) is the second-largest art museum in Michigan and one of the largest museum-connected community art schools in the United States. The FIA makes art accessible and inclusive to all members of their community through permanent collection and temporary exhibitions: guided tours; lectures and community dialogues; art classes, workshops, and studio demonstrations; gallery, studio, and outreach programs for PreK-12, Head Start, and homeschool students; films and videos; print, audio, and multimedia resources.

In this collaboration with The Flint Institute of Arts, we spoke to Flint community leaders and discusses the work they do to provide spaces of art and culture to the people of Flint, Michigan.
