Have you been following the circus?
It’s been 1 year since Obamacare was declared constitutional by the Supreme Court, 3 years since Obamacare passed Congress, 6 years since discussion of Obamacare commenced. Now we’re shutting down government and talking about a historic debt default over whether this enacted law is rolled out.
Is all this REALLY necessary?
Our firm has heard many arguments for and against Obamacare. We admit to being as confused over Obamacare as we are about defense appropriations, and don’t expect to understand either anytime soon.
At this point, we just want to see how Obamacare actually works. If it doesn’t work, then it should be changed; if it seems to ease insurance costs, insure more people, and improve care for our employees and clients that’s great. Like most of the nonprofits we serve, we don’t care much about partisanship, but we do care about what works. Lets try it and see.
