Researchers discovered that continuous global warming has caused previous viruses and bacteria to reemerge from melting ice.

With the warming of the Earth, scientists have uncovered previously dormant viruses that can cause harm to humans and animals.

One case in Siberia saw nearly 100 people become infected with anthrax poisoning after a frozen and infected reindeer carcass thawed during an unexpectedly warm summer.

Scientists have concluded that rising temperatures in particularly cold areas can cause a resurgence of previously deadly epidemics.

Areas with warmer climates have also experienced the negative impacts of global warming as increasing temperatures cause a greater influx of deadly diseases, such as the Zika virus.
