This year will be one of tremendous growth for the Solar Industry. According to the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), 2016 will see 16 gigawatts of solar capacity installed, compared to 6.7 last year – that’s 119% higher!
About 74% of the installations are expected to come from big utility companies and solar farm projects and the remainder will be in-home installations. America’s economy and environment will largely benefit from this change as thousands of new jobs are created in the solar industry and as new environmental state policies are embraced.
